Catherine has over 10 years’ experience as a Forensic Psychologist, assessing and managing highly complex forensic and clinical patients in inpatient, custodial and community settings. Within these forensic contexts she has provided assessment and management for clients with mental health disorders, substance misuse and personality disorders. Additionally, she has worked with a breadth of clients including males and females; children, adolescents and adults; people who identify as Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander, as well as being adept at working with individuals from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
Catherine has held various senior clinical and leadership positions within the public and private sector. Her clinical work has included providing forensic consultation within clinical and forensic settings for issues including violence, sexual violence, stalking, intermate partner violence, fire-setting, and targeted threats. In particular, Catherine has extensive experience in the risk assessment for violence, sexual violence, fire-setting and targeted threats.
