Referrals
Most individual clients are referred by their GP or psychiatrist under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, which is required to claim the Medicare rebate. Details of the Medicare rebate scheme are available below in this factsheet, otherwise please contact us if you require further information.
​Other clients choose to self-refer, claim a rebate through their private health fund, or are referred by their lawyer, WorkCover, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), or other government funded schemes.
THE PROCESS

Obtain a referral from your GP or psychiatrist prior to your appointment if you wish to claim the Medicare rebate for your treatment.

Book an appointment at a time that suits you, the way that suits you - via our online booking system, our contact form, or by calling us. An SMS reminder will be sent 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment - if you do not confirm your appointment, it will be cancelled.

Attendance at your initial consultation allows the consultant psychologist to understand your goals, needs and develop a treatment plan to suit you - whether it be for assessment, therapy, psychometric testing, coaching or consultancy.

Ongoing consultation continues on a regular basis as agreed between you and the consultant psychologist and progress is tracked and reviewed to ensure you achieve your goals.
