Andrea McNeill

Andrea is a registered Psychologist and has worked in the Counselling and Psychological sectors for 29 years with origins as a Correctional Officer at a male Victorian Prison. She has worked in Forensic, Community, Inpatient and Clinical treatment settings in both public and private sectors with a specialist focus on addictions including assessment and treatment services. Andrea has worked with thousands of individuals experiencing complex conditions including personality disorder, psychiatric illness, drug and alcohol dependency and correlating criminal matters. Andrea has accumulated over 20,000 hours in face to face experience in specific assessment and treatment of psychiatric, personality and drug/alcohol addiction along with psycho-legal reports particularly focussed on addiction related criminal conduct. Andrea continues to provide ongoing AOD clinical assessment and treatment focussed supervision to various professionals. Andrea has completed training in psychometric assessments relevant to providing structured risk evaluation, including the HCR 20 v3; RSVP; SARA. Andrea is a member of Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) and Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law.
